TERMS OF USE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you affirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and fully able and competent to enter into and be legally bound by these Terms. You also agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.

2. Description of Services

VoltRef Pro provides electrical calculations and reference tables based on the National Electrical Code — including conductor sizing, voltage drop, conduit fill, ampacity with derating, box fill, motor circuit sizing, equipment grounding and grounding electrode conductors, conduit bending offsets, and Ohm's Law, along with NEC lookup tables and a unit converter (the "Services"). The specific features and capabilities of the App may change from time to time.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

VoltRef Pro is free to download and use. Some features require a Pro subscription.

• The Wire Size Calculator and Ohm's Law Calculator are free and unlimited. No account or sign-up is required.
• Recent calculation history and the unit converter are included free.
• Pro unlocks Voltage Drop, Conduit Fill, Ampacity, Box Fill, Motor Circuit, Grounding and Conduit Bending, the complete NEC reference library, and unlimited history.

4. Subscription Terms

Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription:

• Weekly: $1.99 per week.
• Annual: $19.99 per year.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may vary by region. The price that applies to you, together with any introductory or free-trial offer available in your region, is displayed in the App before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings under Subscriptions. If an introductory offer applies and you cancel during it, access continues until the end of that period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy; we cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Disclaimer of Accuracy

Important: The conductor sizes, ampacities, voltage drops, fill percentages, and other values provided by VoltRef Pro are intended as general planning and estimation guidance only. They are NOT certified engineering calculations and should NOT be used as a substitute for professional engineering judgement, a stamped design, the equipment listing and its instructions, or the applicable edition of the National Electrical Code as adopted in your jurisdiction.

Users are solely responsible for verifying all values against the current code book, local amendments, and the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction before performing any installation. VoltRef Pro assumes no liability for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the use of values provided by the App.

6. User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Electrical work is inherently dangerous and requires proper training, licensure, and inspection.
• You will always verify calculated values against the current National Electrical Code, local amendments, and the equipment listing and its installation instructions.
• You will follow all safety protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and comply with your jurisdiction's permit and inspection requirements.
• The App is a reference tool for licensed electricians and does not replace electrical education, licensure, or an inspector's determination.

7. Code References and Trademarks

VoltRef Pro references articles and tables of the National Electrical Code (NEC) for identification purposes only. NEC and National Electrical Code are trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). VoltRef Pro is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFPA, and the App does not reproduce the Code itself. All other content, features, and functionalities available through the App are owned by or licensed to VoltRef Pro and are protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. VoltRef Pro makes no warranties regarding the operation or availability of the App. Calculated values may vary based on actual field conditions, installation method, equipment listing, and local amendments, and are not guaranteed to be suitable for any particular installation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoltRef Pro and its affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages related to electrical installations performed using values from the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VoltRef Pro's principal operations are based. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
